Violearn

Terms of Use — last updated August 10, 2026

Violearn ("the app") is an independently developed app ("we", "the developer"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.

Licence

Use of Violearn is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies in full. The terms below add detail about the subscription and are not intended to conflict with it; where they do, Apple's agreement governs.

Violearn Pro subscription

Violearn is free to use. An optional subscription, Violearn Pro, unlocks additional features and removes advertising. It is offered as:

Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. Prices may differ by region and may change; you will always see the price that applies to you before confirming a purchase.

Billing and renewal

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Violearn is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not attempt to reverse-engineer the app, or use it in a way that interferes with its operation for other people.

Your own sheet music

Some features let you practise music you provide. You are responsible for having the right to use any music you bring into the app. Anything you import stays on your device.

What the app does not promise

Violearn listens to your instrument and gives feedback on the notes you play. It is a practice aid, not a teacher, and it can be wrong — particularly in a noisy room or with an instrument that is badly out of tune. It is provided "as is", without warranty, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use beyond what the law requires.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
